We are looking for new room mates to share my partner's 1950's multi-level house in Oak Bay with like minded people. We have a large living room with space for yoga or a piano, a large kitchen with all kinds of gadgets and a garden where we want to grow some veggies this summer. There is a 3 piece bathroom on the main floor. The house is centrally located in the Henderson area in Oak Bay, 15 minutes bike ride to UVic, 20 minutes downtown and 5 minutes to Willows Beach. Depending on the room and how many people, the rent is going to be between $700 and $900 (for a couple) plus utilities. The rooms are not furnished, but we can help you pick up some stuff with our truck if needed.
We are both vegetarians (my partner more or less) and try to eat healthy and organic. We also travel a fair bit, and we have a 2 year old large dog that is almost loved to death. Other things important to us: respect, openness, cleanliness, and transparency.
Who we are looking for: we are looking for professionals who are most likely over 35, who are looking for a space to stay for the next little while and who choose to share a space with people rather than do this out of necessity. Though we also appreciate our privacy, some sort of communal spirit with friendly interactions and collaborations is important to us.
