The gist:
1 big bedroom in a 5 bedroom house. Looks onto a park and gets plenty of sun! $700/mth., *everything* (wifi, utilities, hydro etc.) included. Available July 1.
The logistics:
We're open to other possibilities but will prioritize prospective womxn tenants. Unfortunately, we can't take any more pets, so no cat moms, just wannabe cat aunties. On the plus side, we have lots of parking options, we're very close to almost a dozen bus routes (10-15 mins. to Downtown), our house gets loads of sun, we have a precious porch and a huge patio, we're a speedy ten minute walk to the Gorge Waterway, and we have access to free, shared, in-house laundry (2 washers, 2 dryers).
The deets:
You'd be moving in to the main and top floors of a large, modernized character home with 4 other human tenants - three women and one man (23-30 yrs) - and 2 feline tenants, Carlos and Jax. There are three additional tenants living in the lower two suites but our living spaces are fully separated with the laundry room serving as the only point of contact. You'd be living on the top floor, sharing a bathroom with Danica and Elli. Em and Luke's rooms are on the main floor where the kitchen, living/dining room, and another bathroom are located. You'd furnish your room but we've got everything else more than covered!
Our house has a big community vibe and we're looking for someone who wants to participate in that. We have house rules (quiet hours, a cleaning schedule, a communal $$ jar, etc.) and we all pitch in to make things run smoothly. We are more than strangers and are respectful of one another's space. We spend lots of time together, go on trips together, feed each-other's house plants, etc. It's not uncommon for us to have guests but the house is also often quiet as we are all busy students and working professionals. It's the dream, frankly! Our ideal tenant will be someone who is flexible, communicative, respectful, and excited about living with others.
