This is a player's guitar from the early Taylor days before they went into mass production. Made in 1989. It has an ultra slim 1 & 11/16 neck profile and is the consummate fingerstyle guitar in solid spruce and Honduran mahogany. Also, the Florentine cutaway is a true mark of handcrafted lutherie. Lovely bright tone with warmth and tremendous playability. Has had a recent re-fret and stable crack repairs by Dave Cahill of Old Town Strings. Nice low action and very responsive. Also has a decent passive pick up. No ugly bolt on ES system buttons on the top side. Nice little piece of guitar history for a great price.
