The trainer is quiet running. Its quiet enough to watch TV while exercising. The handlebar remote is easy to use. The flywheel is big enough to give smooth pedalling on all the resistance settings. I usually use the highest resistance setting using the largest front chain ring and the fifth gear on the rear cassette. Shifting up to the highest gear gives very strong resistance for a harder workout. The unit comes with an all metal quick release skewer so you don't have to use the plastic capped shimano type. The unit is easy to set up. There is a foot pedal to engage and disengage the rear tire from the flywheel.
