Brand new frame for this year.
Surly Troll fork, 650b (27.5”) wheels, 3 x 9 drive train, Mix of XT and Alivio, Chris King ceramic BB, Panaracer Quasi-Moto rubber, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.
I acquired this frame from the owner of Brodie as it was made a little off spec at the factory. It’s originally designed to have drop bars, but the top tube is quite long. So, it’s a bit of a collectors item in that there are only two of this particular geometry. In my mind it made sense to build it almost as a rigid MTB. It’s a very comfy ride, and is very well geared with an 11-40t cassette. It’s also set up with rapid-rise shifting, so climbing hills is a dream. Will take whatever racks/bags/fenders you can throw at it. Doesn’t come with pedals, or the Flite saddle pictured. 49cm seat tube, 56cm top tube. It will fit anyone from about 5’3” - 5’8”, though riders on the taller end will require a longer stem.
