Get in the groove with some good music at the Victoria Flea Market. Since moving to the Gorge Rd. E. legion it has become a popular place to find quality classic and obscure records at fair prices.
Every Sunday through November, except Remembrance Day, we will be at 411 Gorge Rd. E. and our music-loving vendors will be bringing out the vinyl. Whatever you're after, jazz, blues, early rock recording and everything in between.
Records sell better this season than in any previous year and somehow the collecting community just seemed to come out nowhere to build a thriving trade through mutual interest and friendship. The VFM has now become a go-to place for vinyl enthusiasts and a fun place for anyone to spend a bit of time grooving to good tunes on Sunday morning.
One vendor quietly spins discs in a back corner and loves to talk music. Others bring a wonderful mix of interesting popular and obscure recordings for all interests. It's a great groove and with the current level of interest in recorded history and specifically pop culture, vintage vinyl collecting promises to grow as an always enjoyable, and sometimes profitable hobby.
Don't be fooled into thinking that it's the same stuff every week either. Just because many of the vendors are there each and every week, doesn't mean they have nothing new.
