Yamaha SR500 in Victoria, British Columbia for sale

Vintage naked bike. Qualifies for Collector Plates. All original with the exceptions of a few modernization/safety improvements. Approx. 20K kms. Primarily stored in a garage by a collector who passed away. I've owned the bike for 3 years.
Kick Start only but she usually goes on the first kick every time and here's why:
- totally rebuily carb with all new diaphrams
- valves adjusted
- steam cleaned gas tank
- high flow stainless oil line
Other new bits:
- fuel petcock
- tires are 2 yrs old
- progressive front springs
- adjustable GAZI HyperX rear springs
- new brake pads and stainless brake lines
- brakes all bled and clean.
- retro fitted a vintage Ducati muffler w/o cutting the frame
I'd consider selling the bike for $4000 but I will remove the Ducati Conti muffler and the GAZI adjustable rear shocks to sell privately.
