81 Yamaha xj650 maxim in Victoria, British Columbia for sale

Been in the family since the showroom in 81. This bike has been ridden every summer since new. My uncle bought it. He raced for yamaha back in the day, did his research and bought this bike brand new. My dad bought it off him about 15 years ago and rode it only a couple times a summer until I acquired it at the beginning of this summer. I've put on about 4000 kms this summer and she purs like a kitten. I put in a new clutch, did an oil change. Checked the brakes, bought a new battery and headlight as well. The carburators were synced a couple years ago (there's 4). Awesome 4 cylinder engine, no leaks, 72000 kms but will easily go another 72000. The original seat was re upholstered also a couple years ago. Bike is all stock and would be easy to collector plate. I was going to do it but you need to have another car insured in your name and I drive a work truck. My dad was just too lazy and didn't ride enough to bother. I have the full windjammer for it. I took it off this summer but have it and all the hardware. I have one pic with the jammer on at clover point. She's old and has a few minor things that could use attention but that is reflected in the price. Turn signals stays solid until the revs hit 1500 but all the lights work. Was told it'll just be a ground issue somewhere. Also a small muffler guard rattled off and could be tig welded back on. Doesn't effect anything.
This bike is amazing and I don't really want to sell it but I can't justify having two bikes and all my friends are riding dual sports. My uncle has a klr and is giving me first dibs on it otherwise I'd keep this bike.
