1986 GMC S15 2wd. 8ft box. Been my daily driver since 2012. Used in recent years for camping, fishing, hauling my dirt bike and yard waste. Perfect first vehicle for a young person, doing yard work or maybe father son project. Body is rough but mechanically sound. I trust it to drive anywhere. Paint is tremclad red so no worries about scraping on alder bushes on logging roads. Decent sound system with two decks alpine speakers, amp and 10" sub. Many new parts in the last 6 months include:
-new tires. 235/75R15 (stock has 14's so it sits a quite a bit higher) 2 full size spares included
-new fuel pump
-new windshield
-new water pump
-new radiator
-new thermostat
-new water pump
-new ignition switch with 2 new keys
-new ignition module
-new engine coolant temp sensor
-new wiper motor, pulse board and wipers
-new battery
-new LUK clutch (maybe a month ago)
-new exhaust (oe replacement) quiet, cat delete
-spare Borg Warner T-5 trans comes with the truck
-fresh tune up including plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pcv, air and fuel filter
Always maintained well. Oil change and greased entire front end and drive shaft every 5000 km or 3 months which ever came first no matter what. Trans and diff serviced every year. Only reason for selling is to pass it on to someone who needs her. Everything works. Brakes, lights, signals, horn etc. FULL DISCLOSURE it does need a parking brake pedal assembly. The original has stripped teeth on the catch. Intake gaskets leak oil at the back of the valley. Drivers door only locks from the outside with the key. Drivers side window molding needs to be replaced. Check engine light comes on for emissions here and there, does not affect drivability. Over all a reliable truck. Always served me well.
