I am reluctantly selling my 2008 Toyota Yaris, 3 door (hatchback) RS automatic with 257,000km of accident-free experience (mostly highway driving). I love driving it and will miss inexpensive driving, but it is not able to pull a 20ft trailer or a boat, so I bought a truck. I only use my vehicles for pleasure here, so there's no need for two of them at this point.
It's been my loyal steed since I bought it new off the lot (1 owner) and has been maintained for the majority of it's life at Toyota, with Midas doing some work on the exhaust and shocks. As of the last service, the winter tires still had decent tread for another season or two, and the rear shocks were noisy, so I had them replaced.
This Yaris comes with the 'adventure' package - both a roof rack and a receiving hitch. You can camp in style (well, with 2 people) - 2 x 16-foot kayaks and a bike rack! We've driven all over the island, from Tofino to Port Hardy, with our 2 kayaks and had zero issues. The best part - it won't cost a fortune in gas to get you around the island.
