Recently purchased another vehicle to use as my mountain bike hauling rig. Decided to also replace the G35 with it as my daily driver so I don't have to pay insurance on both vehicles.
Car is loads of fun, Clean title. Very reliable smooth powerful engine that only has 148,500 km/s on it. Oil is always changed several times a year or every 5,000 km/s whichever comes first. I've been using full synthetic Liqui Moly SAE 5W-30 since purchase and it works great and burns absolutely zero oil. I also always use Shell 91 or Chevron 94 octane fuel.
Headlights where upgraded from the older style to the new style Infiniti OEM 2006-2007 G35 projector headlights (Spent $1200 on these). It definitely makes the car look more modern.
However because of this the turn signals hyperblink if the headlights are turned off. It's a simple fix if you don't mind rewiring some of the ground wires on the headlight but I preferred the easy fix of simply leaving the lights on "auto" and covering the light sensor so the lights simply stay on all the time while driving but automatically turn off a minute after you lock the doors.
All lights and signals are fully functional and work perfectly when headlights are on "auto"
Radio sometimes does not work properly, It can be turned on with the steering wheel control but will sometimes randomly shut off. However the Bose speakers are all fully functioning and sound great. Fuel gauge is hit or miss, sometimes it functions perfectly fine other times it's inaccurate. Quite a common problem with the fuel sensors on G35's. I simply fill up roughly every 300kms to play it safe.
Please note the 2 small bits of body damage circled in red in the last 2 photos. There is also a small tear in the drivers leather seat near the base.
Overall the vehicle is in very good shape and has been properly cared for. I've put on 20,000 problem free km/s since purchase nearly 3 years back with a good portion of these being highway as I do a few roadtrips each year.
