For sale is my 2001 Lexus LS430. 4.3L V8 with almost 300hp. Plenty of power, and really smooth power delivery as you'd expect. Amazingly comfortable car, luxurious interior, tons of rear seat room - heated seats, sunroof, full leather interior, great speaker system, power retractable rear window shade, the list goes on.
Good mechanical condition, but does need a little bit of TLC in terms of the exterior paint (scratches/scrapes, rock chips, clear-coat peeling in a few spots, etc.)
Has 323,500km on it, original owner (from Calgary) had a cabin in Colorado, which he would drive back and forth between regularly, so tons of highway kilometers early on in the cars life. I've owned it for almost 5 years, and put about 50,000km on it. Has been absolutely incredibly reliable. The only things I've had to do are:
- Oil changes (always fully synthetic) and other fluid changes.
- Brakes (both front and rear)
- Oil control valve (both sides)
- Change HID headlight bulbs
No check engine light or fault codes of any kind.
Always filled with premium 91 octane gas.
Almost new Goodyear Eagle Spot A/S tires - probably only have 5-10k km on them. Tons of tread left.
Interior has a few minor imperfections - small tear on drivers side seat, and some small damage on the back of the passenger side backrest. Other than that the interior is in excellent condition.
The exterior has some scrapes, scratches, rock chips, clear-coat peeling, etc. Lots of the rock chips are from the highway driving of the original owner.
The clear coat peeling and paint imperfections on the passenger side and trunklid of the car are a result of my attempt to repair a few tiny surface rust spots. I re-sprayed parts of these panels and... it didn't turn out too well, haha. The project kind of got away from me. It's super noticeable to me, but I think to the average person you wouldn't really notice too much. I'm sure someone with a little bodywork experience could fix the imperfections and peeling clear coat. I've included photos of these imperfections.
Looking for a quick sale, so car is priced accordingly.
