A glowing example of a 100% rust free NA Miata. Needs Nothing at all, mechanically sound in every way. Absolutely stock to the bone, only aftermarket parts are the radio and speakers. I've done the work so you don't have to! No issues at all, running perfectly. 1.6L engine is the long nose variety, no need to worry about reliability.
I've owned this car for just a year, and that entire time it never failed to put a smile on my face while driving around. It will be extremely missed but I need a 4x4 and cant afford the extra insurance! I have babied this car at every single opportunity.
Over the time that I have had this car Ive done some of the following work:
-Rebuilt Shifter, Nice notchy feel to every gear
-Redid clutch system
-Replaced tranny and diff fluids with Redline branded gear oils (Makes a huge difference)
-Slightly aggressive alignment, but nothing that looks ridiculous
-Every fluid has been replaced and flushed
-New valve cover gaskets
-New spark plugs + wires
-New exhaust, stock replica
-Brand new radiator + hoses
-Hooked up headrest speakers and replaced door speakers with high end models. Sounds fantastic for a convertible.
Have records for some of this work, most was done myself. Have had it looked over by Pacific Mazda.
Some issues:
-Top has two tears, I have patched them along the side. Functionally unaffected ( Absolutely no leaks).
-Paint is showing some wear
