Yamaha NS-266 vintage hifi speakers in Victoria, British Columbia for sale

PRICE DROP to $120! I really need to free up some space!
These are amazing speakers with a crisp, full sound response. Genuine oldschool sealed driver & cabinet construction with no stupid "bass reflex" ports to muddy everything up; they have plenty of 'natural' bass and a nice flat response curve at all frequencies. They are in *excellent* cosmetic condition with only a few minor scuffs on the casings. I have the original fabric covers too which are in perfect condition.
Unfortunately one side mid-range driver is out, no idea what the problem is. I was intending to try to repair it myself but haven't even had time to try to open them up.
These are a matched pair with the same serial #s - I was using them GENTLY as near-field monitors despite the missing mid on one side and they were great! I don't have enough room in my new studio space so they unfortunately need to find a better home.
They have NEVER been clipped or overdriven in my possession!
Would consider trade of some smaller powered pro monitors so I don't have to run an amp.
