Furnished guestroom in a cozy home with a beautiful view, on a quiet street ending at Portage Inlet, Saanich.

Available for short term (1-4 weeks) stays. 3 night or $100 minimum.

For one person only. No pets. No other guests.

Guestroom has a double bed, table, large closet, large window that opens. Reserved for private guest use is the den with its own TV, sofa, desk, by the wood stove. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, garden, sun deck are available for guest use, shared with the owner. Wireless internet and off street parking provided.

The Galloping Goose Trail is minutes away, as is Cuthbert Holmes Park, Tillicum Mall and the Gorge Waterway. 15 minutes from downtown driving. Closest bus stop is Cowper and Admirals.

Location is especially suitable for someone needing short term accommodation accessing Royal Roads (7 km) Camosun Interurban (5 km) UVic (8 km) Victoria General Hospital (3 km) or Royal Jubilee Hospital (8 km). Cyclists would enjoy being between the Galloping Goose and Gorge Waterway trails. Bus stop is Cowper and Admirals. But easy access to the buses along Douglas/Highway 1, or the Tillicum Mall bus exchange.

My home is a very quiet, peaceful space. I have returned to UVic to finish my PhD so I am looking for short-term, temporary 'roommates' (who have no hotel or B & B expectations) who are pleasant, mature, professional, non-smokers, and who can look after themselves. People coming to Victoria to study, for work, attend conferences etc. are especially welcome.
