My priorities in life have changes and, although it pains me, the time has come for me to part with this beautiful yellow beast. I am the fourth owner and third in the past 4 years. Originally belonging to Christ Church Cathedral School, she has spent the entirety of her life in Victoria and was retired from service in 2013 or 2014. Following that, this bus went through two owners in two years, both of which having the intention of camperizing it but didn't have the drive to follow through in the end. Building on the foundations left behind by my predecessors, I have turned this bus from a near empty tin can into a rugged camper that will suit the needs of any festival goer, tree planter or adventurer.
Outfitted with a queen sized bed, a pull out futon, a camper table and four reclining seats salvaged from a 70s greyhound, this bus will travel six and sleep four in complete comfort. The floor is (mostly) laminate wood and interior detail is done with reclaimed fir and cedar. This bus has also been outfitted with a custom 16 ft x 6 ft roof rack that doubles as a sun deck for your enjoyment while stationary.
As a naturally aspirated diesel you'll find that it is pretty gutless on a hill. On the other hand, it has torque and clearance to spare so it can get you just about anywhere that you can squeeze it.
No air brakes and few seats make it so that you only need your class 5 to drive it.
