Hello! If you are reading this it means the room is still available! I am looking for someone to share the 2 bedroom main floor of my house with me. Its a 1970's post and beam house with an open concept which is bright and comfortable. It has 9'+ ceilings, original parquet oak floors, a wood burning fireplace and a big beautiful south facing backyard. I've just purchased the house and I will be moving in on May 15th. I will be doing some renovations (changing appliances, putting hardwood floors in bedrooms, changing heaters and lighting and adding washer and dryer) upstairs for 2 weeks and I'm looking for someone to move in and share the space (we'd each have our own bedrooms) with me starting June 1st. Rent would be $1050 each plus utilities.
Downstairs will be a separate 2 bedroom suite very much the same. Please note that for the month of June I will be putting in the suite downstairs so there will be work happening and it will be noisy during the day. This will only take place until the suite is completed but I wanted to make sure that was known.
I am a 34 year old male and I work as a carpenter. I have a very nice medium sized dog who would be living with us so best if you like dogs. She doesn't shed much and she is mellow in the house. I work Monday to Friday from 7-330. When I'm not working I enjoy hanging out outside. I like surfing, yoga, climbing, riding bikes, making food and hanging out with friends. I'm hoping to find like minded people who want to live in this house with me and build a bit of a community. I'd like to make a garden in the back and would be stoked to have others in the house involved in it. The house is on a nice quiet street a few blocks from the Gorge and not far from the Goose trail. The photos posted are the realtor photos. I will post some proper pics once I've updated appliances and painted and moved some furniture in.
I am open to any type of arrangement at this point. Short term, month to month, etc. 2 month min. please
My dog is really great with people but doesn't always like other dogs so at this point I'm going to have to say no dogs unfortunately.
