We are looking for a new housemate for July 1st!
Ours is a beautiful home in Fernwood. The kitchen and living room are bright, spacious, and fully equipped. There is also a solarium, perfect for tea and a good book. There is additional storage available, secure bike parking, a deep freeze, and laundry.
The jewel of the whole house is the yard. There are abundant gardens dedicated to edible perennials, herbs, veggies, and fruit trees. Aditi also runs a clinic in a studio in the back garden three days a week, so yard projects need to be organized with clinic days in mind.
The room for rent is unfurnished, of modest size, and comes with built in shelving and storage. It is in the heart of the house, separated from other rooms by thick walls, meaning relative quiet. It best suits someone whom doesn't mind living in smaller, well-organized spaces.
Our ideal roommate is in their late 20's to mid-30's, and enjoys consciously sharing home space. We value good, clear communication, and the ability to work through issues with honesty and integrity. We seek to live with someone who loves home, respects and values themselves as well as others, and has a healthy sense of humor.
We have two beloved feline companions, so our roommate must live well with cats - we consider them family :)

Who are we, you ask?
Chris wears many hats. He is a fermentation fanatic, an occasional DJ, growing plant nerd, home brewer, and collector of garden gnomes. He runs a busy landscaping business, and adores gardening. Aside from that, he enjoys yoga, reading, music, adventure, and nerding out on things.
Aditi works as a naturopathic doctor (a lot of plants/food reverence, cranial sacral and homeopathy) and is an instructor at Pacific Rim College (we cannot live with PRC students). Passionate about her work, and being super focused, but also loves to be still, snuggle, visit the ocean/forest... has traveled all over to learn whatever feeds my cells down deep and currently excited about finding the right chemistry at home to grow magick <3.
