I have 1 large bedroom in my apartment available for as soon as April 15th, or May 1st. The room is very large, perfect size for a couple and has a large double-sized closet. For that reason we are looking for a couple specifically, so that the total rent can be split 4 ways (the couple pay $525 each while myself and my other room mate pay more because we have private rooms). The apartment has high ceilings, washer and dryer, working fireplace, a large living room, large kitchen, and a large bathroom. Hydro, electricity and internet are not included but are low in price. I have a cat that is very sweet and chubby, and spends most of his time sleeping or begging for pets and treats, and unfortunately he doesn't do well with other animals so we most likely couldn't accept any more pets in the house.
I am looking for a couple who are clean, reliable, and respectful. This isn't a party house but we love to have friends over for holiday potluck dinners, drinks, and games. Being considerate of keeping the shared spaces clean is a must. The apartment and kitchen are already fully stocked and furnished so all you would need is your bedroom furniture.
The house is the upstairs suite of a duplex at Quadra and Balmoral, so it is technically in North Park, but also next to Fernwood and basically downtown. Right along the #6 bus route and within walking distance to groceries, bars, restaurants, shopping, and gyms etc.
