I had two trip cages which I signed up with with each other by getting rid of the leading of one and connecting them to make one additional large cage, 32 inches vast, 14 deep, and 43 high. This was loads of area for about 8 finches and also a canary. Both wire parts are attached with little zap straps, which hold everything really firmly, it's not wobbly or loose.
I have both bases and also the added cable top, so this can effortlessly be made back right into 2 big trip cages.
