1981 Sekine 5 speed cruiser (Made in Canada)
Suitable for rider around 5'4" to 5'7"
Freshly-serviced including new rear brake pads, replacement bottom bracket, and cranks, thoroughly cleaned, well-running and ready for the road home.
The original, inconveniently positioned stem shifter has been replaced with a conveniently-located thumb-shifter.
Handles great. Accelerates beautifully.
Chrome wheels trued. Hubs adjusted so wheels spin smoothly.
Bottom bracket adjusted. so cranks spin freely.
Gear shifting works properly through all five gears.
Brakes stop on a dime.
Tires are in very good shape.
Comfortable saddle.
Full alloy fenders and kickstand.
Cosmetically, its pretty blue paint contrasts nicely with the black seat and trim, and is complimented by a mix of gleaming chrome and polished alloy parts. Paint scratches on the two blue down tubes are numerous. Nonetheless a character retro ride.
