Waterloo Jumbo King in Victoria, British Columbia for sale

Selling the last and best of my Waterloo guitars! The Jumbo King is the Collings take on the now legendary depression-era Regal Recording King jumbos. This lightly built, x-braced guitar produces simply huge tone -- exceptional volume and power. The tone is dry and woody -- it is really amazing how "vintage" these Waterloos sound and feel. There is nothing else like them on the market. With sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, the Jumbo King sounds in many ways like a vintage J-45, but with a more balanced tonality and increased mid-range bark. it responds equally well to fingerstyle playing and heavy flat picking, which is something one can say about very few guitars. Finally, it sports one of the most attractive sunburst finishes you will find this side of 1945. An all-around knockout instrument!
