Mine is like new in every way, appropriate for gift-giving. Actually it's even better: all Canadian copies came with the wrong version of Philosopher's Stone. The correct version could only be obtained if requested from Warner Canada (something they never advertised). This version contains both the incorrect original and correct replacement.
