Selling my 2008 Yamaha C3 50cc scooter.
I bought this scooter just a couple of months ago with the intention of it being my primary transportation around town. In my excitement, I never bothered to get it inspected before buying it and took it on faith from the previous owner that it was in good running order... A mistake I won't make again.
I rode it perhaps 3 or 4 times before I noticed that it was running rougher than it should. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with it but I suspect it could be a failing crankcase bearing.
I'm not 100% sure but I don't have the time or finances to repair it so I'm taking a huge hit to my wallet and selling it as is.
Everything else on this scooter is in phenomenal shape except for the front fairing which has a couple of scratches and cracks in it (See photos) that don't affect performance at all. None of the black plastics are faded and the white plastics are all clean and scratch free. All of the electronics work perfectly.
Basically, it starts fine, has a strong idle, great acceleration and tops out at about 60km/h. Its just the rough running engine that's the issue and I really don't want to deal with it.
So, if you're looking for a parts bike, have the mechanical knowledge or access to engine parts and can take the time to figure out the issue this would be an amazing scooter.
