This bike isn't like the others. When you first get the Cross Bones Springer, it's actually pretty ugly with the duck tail end, the mini apes, terrible Exhaust Pipes, and some bad lighting and seat location.
The first thing I did was remove the duck tail fender and replace wit the RSD 200 mm Tracker tire-hugging fender and paint to match. Getting closer to a real bobber.
Then I added 14" ape hangers, which is far more comfortable and WAS better looking. Swapped out the pipes for Vance & Hines Shortshot Staggered pipes.
Reworked the wiring and added a side-mounted plate bracket. It's just gotten a new rear tire, brakes, and gets synthetic oil.
Runs like a top with 21k on the odometer. I love this bike with all my heart but my wife swears she'll ride with me if I get a bagger.
This bike can be easily painted to get a much different look. No accidents, drops, etc.
