I'm the first owner, bought brand new in 2007. Bike was ridden often the first couple years, then a little bit each summer and stored properly every winter. Last summer I rode it once and now I have too many hobbies so it's time to say goodbye.
The bike spent almost its entire life in Victoria. You'll notice a few modifications from stock that I made the first summer I had it. Some functional, some just for fashion. I'll outline below.
- Hi intensity low and high beam bulbs (nice bright white/blue light makes you very visible and night driving safer)
- LED front turn signals with smoked cover
- integrated LED taillight/turn signal with smoked cover and minimal license plate mount
- Shortened black windscreen (mostly for looks)
- custom painted matte black fairings (really just for looks)
Maintenance and Condition:
I've changed the oil and filter every year. I did maintenance by the book or earlier since the day it came home (fluid flushes, filter cleans and replacements, etc).
Paint:
One scuff where I strapped the passenger helmet to the side a couple times (pictured). Far less signs of wear than any other 10 year old bike. I repainted the fairings 2 years ago, all other paint is original.
Gear Included:
If it fits, I can also throw in the gear that I bought that first summer I had it (in picture). Has only been worn a few dozen times or less.
