1996 Honda Helix 250 cc scooter, water-cooled 4-stroke engine, stable and comfortable on highway, a blast around town, low insurance and great on fuel. People have done some good long distance tours on these bikes.
This scooter comes from Arizona, originally, so it has the front disc brake instead of drum, for excellent stopping power. Plus frame is corrosion free due to being garage stored most of its life. It has a very low centre of gravity and this is easily handled by anyone, as the seat is very low compared to a motorcycle.
New carb, electric fuel pump, battery, air intake, she runs like a dream and starts easily.
24k miles, the digital speedometer works in both miles and kilometres at touch of a button.
Comes with optional passenger backrest and has rear rack for easily mounting for any top box. The rear integral lockable trunk is very handy for grocery runs!
It's 250cc, so requires motorcycle licence to ride it. If you are already riding a smaller scooter, you will find this one pretty easy to step up to, it handles very much the same but is more stable at highway speeds.
It's BC registered with all papers, clear title and status.
Comes with bonus two helmets.
