These berries were developed in the 50s from loganberry, youngberry, raspberry and blackberry. They produce an abundant crop about 3 weeks ahead of local blackberries. The berries are about the size of large raspberries, keep well frozen and make excellent preserves. They can tolerate partial shade and grow vigorously in our climate.
