Victoria Sculpture Space is a shared studio for artists who require an industrial work space, where noise, power tool usage or dust may be part of the process. Located on the second floor of Rock Bay Square, a building with great community of artists and craftspeople in a colorful, industrial neighborhood.
The space is arranged with three bright, windowed units of 150 sq/ft, all opening into a communal work area of 200 sq/ft, allowing for a spacious work environment while maintaining optimal economics. One space is available for the beginning of June or July. Wifi and small storage space are included. Can be accessed 24 hrs with minimal noise restrictions. Huge freight elevator with easy access from garage to unit. Street parking only.
Please note, it is not a typical art studio space, and isn't suitable for painting, music, or anything that dust or noise would interfere with. It is a well ventilated space and is ideal for doing work involving woodworking, light metal working, clay, ceramic, stone, glass, etc..
We would love to find a motivated, productive artist to complete our group! Let us know a little about what you do and how you would use the space. We're looking for someone who would be compatible with the space, ie: someone doing creative work, and in need of an industrial type space. I'll try to respond to everyone, but sorry if I don't.
