"She doesn't look like much, but she's got it where it counts." If you are looking for a solid truck with great gear, this may be it. It was originally purchased at Island Ford in Nanaimo and I am the third owner. Mileage is decent - less than 9000 km per year. She is well maintained (my brother is a mechanic) with many cool modifications. The stock 4.6 litre V8 had a tendency for preignition when cold, or when carrying loads at highway speeds, so I installed a dual Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust system. Gas mileage and performance are greatly improved, and it sounds awesome. The box has been Rhino coated and has a one-inch thick bed mat - locking tonneau cover makes it completely weather- proof and durable. I also installed a JVC KD -A925BT stereo system with sat radio, bluetooth, mp3 for handsfree us of cel-phone. Upgraded the front speakers to 4 way for better audio performance. The interior is the XL trim, but has airconditioning as a feature - otherwise, no power options for windows etc, no cruise control. It is set up for towing but the previous owner removed the under-dash electronics. Also has both summer and winter tires, each set with about 60,000 km on them, lots of tread left. Overall, it is an excellent truck that has always been well maintained. Some minor scrapes and dents, and the 90's water-based paint has faded on the top surfaces, but other than cosmetics, it is in great condition.
