FIXER UPPER
Looking for a project to do for yourself or with your kid? I have the perfect learning car.
It still runs, I still drive it. I have newer car therefore selling.
I am not a mechanic; but here is what I think is wrong.
Needs:
- Oil pan gasket (leaks some oil)
- ABS ring (pulsates if I press on brake after turning
- Traction Control (If I leave it on, it bogs down, but if I leave it off, I have no problems).
The ABS and TRACTION CONTROL issue started when a friend did my brake job, so maybe something happened with the computer? Not sure, just a thought.
- Rear fender (someone hit me)
- Fuel filter or pump (when gas is low, I hear it whirring)
- I hear water or something behind console. a little water comes out on passenger floor when I get a car wash
- Exhaust (it needs to be hung right which will close a seal between two sections, or maybe you need a gasket and two screws) the pipes are good, just not together as tight as it should be.
- One driver side headlight is burnt out
Good:
- Battery is new (this last winter)
- Tires (a year and a half)
- No rust (but a couple door dings)
V6 3400
Power mirrors
Power windows
AC
Cruise
Dual Climate
- I know it can be an excellent car again, but I am not a mechanic to do it. I'm not parting it out, I'm selling it whole. If you want certain parts you need to take it all.
- Don't try to use faults to lower price. I have been as honest as possible and I have been upfront. It is a fixer upper, or I would sell it for more.
- I will accept cash only. I will write you a receipt to give to ICBC with the transfer insurance slip.
- Please call, text or email. Leave voicemail if I can't answer.
