Ground up rebuild, then new dropped Jamco front end, power disc brakes, custom tie rods, new 51 steering box and wheel, new shocks with air shocks in the rear. All new power brakes with completely rebuilt 81 Meteor rear end installed by Drivers Welding and new brake lines. New custom driveshaft 91 T5 5 speed transmission new flywheel and clutch.
New Coker whitewalls
New gas tank Carter electric fuel pump mounted next to the tank, feeding 2 new Stromberg Super 97 carbs Offenhauser intake pressure regulator and good fittings.
8BA block completely machined and built by Lukes Custom Machine and Design with Scat stroker crank and rods and 3 5/16 aluminum cast pistons, ported relieved, adjustable tappets, Isky Maxi cam, new springs, drilled bosses for easy adjustment. Edlebrock aluminum heads installed using proper studs . Power reduction starter
Full MSD electronic ignition. New alternator.
Properly broken in with High Zinc break in oil, and driven with Lucas Hot Rod hi zinc oil only.
Heavy duty headers leading to custom professional dual exhaust system designed and installed by Gerry at Island Muffler for that sweet flattie sound. Full lake pipes that are properly installed so you could hook them up if you wanted to.
New interior in cloth by Styles Upholstery with heated seats. Extra sound insulation. Front and rear seat belts.
New door hinges installed.
3 Speed wipers, 3 speed heater, gauges and a flawless Bluetooth remote high power amplifier located in the trunk driving speakers in the rear deck for great tunes with no evidence up front.
NEW custom copper radiator and water pumps, thermostat controlled fan, 180 degree thermostats
LED taillights, Painless Wiring with extra relays.
Drives sweetly and really cruises at 70 mph with the T5 and newer rear end.
