Up for sale today is my 2009 Mazda Tribute in Sport Blue.
Rare 5-speed manual transmission -- very few of these left the factory!
Brand new: headlights, alternator, clutch as of September 2018. Tires are ~80% tread.
To note, it's FWD and 4 cylinder (great on gas).
Includes all power options; PW, PL, air-conditioning, premium sound with 6-CD changer and AUX input, tinted windows. New control arms, master cylinder as of a couple months ago. Upgraded ECM, fuel pump in 2014. Due to the new master cylinder, the clutch grabs very strong and it drives nicely -- a surprising amount of fun for an SUV!
The seats have been shampooed within the year and the car is regularly vacuumed and freshened up.
No claims over $2k. Only one claim on the vehicle for about $1100, prior to my ownership, on the rear -- I believe it was the hatch glass, as well as a repaint on the hatch.
Second owner purchased the vehicle in 2012 from a Mazda dealership in Manitoba. The original owner traded it in for another Tribute with leather and an automatic so his wife could drive it. It was driven out here in 2015, and it is insured in British Columbia -- passed the inspection with flying colours. I bought this for my dad, but he can no longer drive.
A couple things to note: There are some little bumps and bruises, as to be expected with an 9-year-old car.
By FAR the cheapest 2nd gen Tribute or Escape in BC...
...and likely the only one with a stick. :)
