Farr 727 racer cruiser in Victoria, British Columbia for sale

Up for sale is our 1978 Farr designed Northstar 727, "Lion Passant". A classic design that is at home racing the fleet or island jumping. This is the design that launched Bruce Farrs career. We have taken her on several adventures throughout the U.S. and Canadian gulf islands. She would be an ideal boat for a couple, a group of friends, or someone looking for a fun entry in PHRF or Swiftsure racing. She sleeps two comfortably, but room for 4.
Since owning her she has received new bulkheads and paint.
She comes fully equipped with:

Mainsail and Genoa in serviceable condition - New owners can sail all summer, and decide if they want to take the boat into a racing or cruising direction. A dive was performed in January, and hull found to be in good condition. The boat should be hauled one morning, for bottom paint this season.
Lion Passant is currently at moorage in Esquimalt Harbour, 50m South of Cole Island. Boat can be seen from public access at Palmer Station (Gibraltar Bay), or rowed to from public access from Helmecken, or Beaumont Avenue. I would be happy to take interested buyers out for viewing. Vessel will be fully washed and waxed prior to delivery to new owner. While mooring is not included, we can discuss the use of it through summer.
Reason for selling: We would like to (temporarily) trade fun on the water for overland abilities in a Land Rover Series/Defender. As such, we are only interested in trades for a good condition, vintage Land Rover or Land Cruiser.
