Cal 25 in Victoria, British Columbia for sale

I'm selling my Cal 25.
Some history:
I acquired Dancing Bear 5 years ago, and have kept her on a mooring in Cadboro Bay for this entire period. This was my 'starter' boat, and I have learnt much through ownership of her. I cannot imagine a better boat to have learnt sailing with. Also, I lived aboard for periods of up to 6 months at a time. It is now time to move on to other boat adventures, and I hope to find a new owner for her.
Some details (what's included):
- a trusty, 1980's Honda 7.5 outboard. I have had it serviced annually, and has got me about the islands well.
- 1 main sail, 1 jib, 1 storm jib. The main is tired, but the jibs are in good condition.
- 1 danforth, 1 bruce
- wood burning stove
- functioning head
- sink with hand pump, fresh water holding tanks
- a ton of bits and bobs (some bronze, some stainless)
Important details:
- Dancing Bear is unlicensed, and without a reg. number.
- you'll notice the modified cabin top (constructed by previous owner), this has been one of my favourite features of Dancing Bear. I am 5' 11" and can just about stand up straight while making dinner.
- the bottom was scrubbed, and painted two years ago
Conclusion:
Dancing Bear is a simple boat, nothing fancy, but a great vessel to learn sailing on. The mooring she is on needs to be freed up, and the expectation would be that the new owner moves her out of Cadboro Bay (the bay is chock-a-block now!).
