The Hunter 28.5, sloop sailboat is made of a single skin FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) fiberglass hull and composite cored deck; it has a raked stern, fin keel, round chines and spade-hung rudder. Generous accommodations are provided in this sailing vessel. The layout includes a V-berth followed aft by the seating area with settee to port and starboard sharing a pedestal table. Aft of the salon is the galley to port and enclosed head opposite to starboard. The Master cabin is located aft of the galley and through the partial bulkhead below the cockpit sole.
The interior of the vessel is in good condition. Cabinetry, joinery and bulkheads are all of teak & holly, all in good condition.
The deck is well laid out with double course life lines joining the 1" pulpit and pushpit. The bow withholds the anchor locker with anchor bow roller & a roller furling for the jib sail. The "T" shaped cockpit is well appointed with binnacle steering, seat lockers (two small & one large) & seat cushions (5)
The power package will cruise the vessel comfortably at 5 to 6 knots. The Hunter 28.5 is well built for recreational cruising in protected local waters. All seat & bed cushions are in the boat.
