Tollycraft Boats was founded in 1936 in the Pacific Northwest and produced thousands of boats until 1993. The 26 Sedan was the most popular boat produced with many examples still on the water today. "Hide a Way" is a perfectly preserved and meticulously maintained example of this motor vessel built for fishing and cruising coastal BC waters.
The 255 HP engine / Borg Warner velvet drive was rebuilt 700 hours ago. Fully serviced / tuned this year with new carb kit. All risers, exhaust and heat exchanger were replaced last season. New hot water tank, fresh water holding tank, head and electronics upgraded to Raymarine Axiom Chart Plotter and Depth / Fish Finder. A 9.9 Yamaha high thrust auxiliary engine with electric start, hydraulic lift and remote steering was installed, plus wiring and bases for down-riggers. "Hide a Way" has a rear hydraulic thruster for ease of docking. Vessel cruises economically at 10 knots and will easily exceed 15 knots to get you out of weather.
