1976 Cal29 - new outboard, boat just surveyed in Victoria, British Columbia for sale

PATROCLUS has had most of her electrical system rewired due to removal of the gasoline inboard and new outboard gasoline engine installed 2 years ago. Transom was cut for this purpose. More storage room where engine used to be. Old fuel tank can still be used for outboard, very handy. There is also a custom-made canvas sunroof for the cockpit.
The CAL 29 is an amazing boat that combines the best of both worlds in comfort and function. She is a high performance (for her era), and a well balanced boat. The combination of the light displacement hull (thick 2"), long waterline and tall rig gives her speed. Below deck is a super clever layout that maximizes cabin space allowing for up to six passengers and is a clever mixture of traditional quality and innovative modern design. There's a V-Berth forward, a dinette that converts into a double berth and two quarter berths - each 7' long. The galley is not crammed into a corner, but runs the entire starboard side of the main salon. This boat has had many recent upgrades since she was commissioned in 1976 including: newer sails and rigging (2008/2012), upholstery (2007), roller furling, newer electronics and LP paint and much, much more.
