About Anne Rosemary Conway (1934 - 2018) :
Ann-Rosemary Conway used mixed media content wood, hand-made paper, lino-cut prints, collaged together with acrylic, crayon and semi-precious stones, feathers and bones. Each art work takes up to a month to complete. Sometimes longer. "The long process is done only when the artwork finally 'speaks' to me.
Ann-Rosemary Conway traveled the world in search of images, statues, and paintings only finding them imprisoned in museums tens of thousands of miles from their temples, homes and sacred sites. She went on a vision quest and saw these ancient Goddesses in museums and some returning to their original temples and sites.
She learnt and recognized the pre-science of Goddess, in museums, in caves 5000 years old, in well springs on top of which are now cathedrals, on rocks carved by First peoples....everywhere.
