1) This is an antique Japanese pillow (Takamakura) used by the Geishas. The pillows are made out of ceramic so they maintain their hairstyle. They are hollow to keep them cool and odor can be placed inside the pillow to keep hair fresh and clean smelling. It has stunning hand painted Japanese lions on either side. It is a beautiful decoration or display piece. Artists stamp is underneath of the pillow.
