I often wonder what other eyes have gazed upon pictures like this from the late 1800's or early 1900's. Some famous eyes perhaps? Too bad eye gazes couldn't be captured somehow and recorded for posterity's sake. Whatever.
It seems this Mahogany frame is scratched in places but is firm. Not sure where the subject matter is located, but definitely in Europe somewhere. Perhaps France or England.
On back a tag notes that Johnson Art Galleries framed the picture and they were at 634 St. Catherine St. West Montreal, Quebec.
