Beautiful winter scene with grey skies, this is a very tranquil and peaceful glimpse into the prairies. Painting is housed in the original frame, new blue matting and protected by non-glare glass. Signed by F.D. Locke lower right.
Dr. F. Dean Locke practiced medicine in Lacombe and area for over 30 years. He retired in 1950 when he began painting and flourished from 59 - 69. This is a perfect example of his work.
