Landlords!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!! (My Story) in Victoria, British Columbia

Needed: 1 bdm. apt. (Unfurnished)
Isn't there ANYONE willing to open their hearts & their homes to those of us that just need a helping hand to get back on their feet? I feel utterly defeated. I used to have a "life", now merely struggle to "exist". My small companion (lapdog) is the only thing that keeps me going. Seriously. My dog does NOT cause damage and I am a considerate, clean and reliable lady (over 50 yrs) who has always gotten along with others, with respect & kindness. How did I end up here?!! One answer: Bone Marrow health issues. My world crashed. I have lost so much but gained insight to others' plights I may otherwise have not heeded. I, "desperately", need a home. I pay my rent on time, respect others' property & privacy and make a very good tenant. I can only afford up to $900@month for shelter and can't bear to lose my little "companion". If you or someone you may know has room for us to make a home, please don't hesitate to email me. I promise to, one day, Pay It Forward & assist another person in dire straights. Sometimes people forget that one small act of Kindness can absolutely Change a Life (and sometimes save a life too!). Maybe you hold the power to do that! Please...just consider my plea, even though I realize I am one small voice in a sea of desperate voices screaming out for help. I feel utterly Pathetic writing this on social media (does wonders for one's self-esteem), but face the reality that I've run out of choices & opportunities. If I could only find stability in having secured a home for myself, I could begin to build my life again. I do not drink, smoke or do drugs. I have always nurtured others & was a full-time caregiver. I never imagined I'd one day, be in this situation. It could happen to "anyone". With respect, I thank you for reading & considering my plea. Should you not be in the position to help me, I understand, yet will be hopeful that you will appreciate your life a little more and will , in some small way even, show mercy & kindness to someone with less.
