We're on the hunt for the GREATEST TENANTS IN THE WORLD to live in our garden level suite for September 1st (flexible on move in dates after August 15). Here's the info:
The suite: 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom approximately 780sq ft. Built one year ago. In suite W/D. Rent includes heat and water. Large backyard, perfect for a kiddo, dog, or cat. If you like BBQs, and being a part of a great friendly neighbourhood, our deck is where it's at. If you want a space for a garden, then this is it. AND, if you have a green thumb, all the better, as we do not (and may be willing to negotiate rent for yard work). Parking available for one vehicle. Quiet street just off the number 6 and 26 busses, near Uptown/Playfair Park and the Galloping Goose! We're one block away from an off leash dog park and playground. $1200/month (+ damage deposit/pet deposit).
The landlords: We're a family of 4. He works days as an IT nerd and moonlights as a beer enthusiast/motorcycle aficionado, she is a stay at home mom to a 2 year old and newborn while dabbling in home business in her free time. We live upstairs and are very easy going and respectful to our downstairs neighbours. We love our home, and are quick to fix any issues or problems that may arise.
You: The most important thing is shared respect. We want you to enjoy living here, to help us make our house a home. We encourage you to have BBQs, be a part of our amazing community, as long as we have open dialogue and mutual respect for each other and our space(s). A couple or family with similar schedules to ours would be ideal. If you've got a pet, that's fine with us, but we'd like to meet it before introducing it to our home. We understand pets are family members, and would love to add them to our home if they're the right fit!
